FAQ’s

Why are my brakes squealing?
When your brakes start squealing it’s a good indicator that it is time to have your brakes inspected and possibly replaced as it’s often a sign of worn out brake pads.

Do you do NY State Inspections?
Of Course. Give us a call to  make an appointment and we’ll get you back in the road before your sticker expires!

Why is my tire light on?
The TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor System) light illuminates on your dashboard when at least one of your tires is at a low pressure level. Check the pressure of your tires with a gauge and if one is low, fill it back to the recommended pressure. (Since 2003, the recommend pressure for your vehicle is found on a sticker in the driver side doorjamb.) If it continues to lose pressure give us a call for a appointment and we can determine if the tire can be plugged or if you need a replacement.

How often should I change my oil?
The answer is it depends on your driving conditions. Does you daily commute have a lot of stop and go? If so, we recommended getting it changed every 3,000 – 5,000 miles. If your commute is little more light duty you can go a little longer. A good general rule is not exceeding what’s recommended in your vehicles owners manual.

Can you perform the recommended interval service checks?
Yes, we service all makes and models so just give a call at 518-745-0000 to schedule an appointment

Why is my AC blowing hot air?
When you have you AC on and it’s not blowing cold air anymore it could be one of these 3 common cause; Refrigerant Leak, Worn our compressor or an issue with the electrical system. These are not all the culprits that could cause warm air to blow through your A/C System, but they are the most common. Give us a call to schedule an appointment and we can diagnose and fix your Air Conditioning issue.
